Built from the dancefloor up.
BHQ began in Toronto in March 2024, founded by two DJs from India with more than a decade in music and one shared idea: Bollywood nights could be more thoughtful, more creative, and more memorable.
We wanted to create the kind of Bombay-style nights we loved. Highly curated music. Strong concepts. Rooms that could make you feel like you had travelled somewhere else for a few hours.
For some, it feels nostalgic.
For some, hopeful.
For some, a celebration.
And for some, simply a love for the music.
We started with empty clubs.
Then came the first Bolly Cruise Fest.
It sold out.
That summer changed what BHQ could become.
Since then, we have kept experimenting with new concepts, growing our community, and bringing bigger ideas to life, including bringing Sunburn to Canada for the first time.
We are still a small team, and creativity remains at the centre of everything we do.
Our ambition is simple: represent our music well, grow the culture, and take it further.
