Toronto, get ready to live, love, and dance: Dutch EDM dynamo Dyro is headed your way to headline Sunburn Reload NYE 2025, and he’s bringing his arsenal of tracks to ring in the New Year.

This isn’t just any NYE party. It marks Sunburn's first-ever event in Canada, and we've tapped one of the biggest names in electro and progressive house to lead the charge. Dyro’s upcoming set at Sunburn Reload promises to fuse the festival’s iconic, larger-than-life energy with his own high-voltage style, making December 31st a night Toronto’s dance music community won’t soon forget.

Journey of a Legend

Dyro’s journey from bedroom producer to mainstage headliner has been nothing short of meteoric. Discovered by Dutch powerhouses like Hardwell and Laidback Luke, he quickly proved himself as one of the most talented newcomers of the 2010s.

In 2013, Dyro made history by becoming the highest new entry ever on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, landing at #30 at just 21 years old. For three consecutive years he held firm in the Top 30, cementing his status as an EDM heavyweight while still in his early twenties.

Dyro launched his own label WOLV in 2014, carving out a space for darker, bass-driven sounds and pushing the genre forward.

TRACK IDs for the win

What sets Dyro apart is a discography stacked with festival anthems and game-changing collaborations. His breakout hit with Hardwell,“Never Say Goodbye,” became an instant big-room classic in 2013.

From there, Dyro went on to collaborate with an A-list roster of EDM giants – Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, David Guetta – you name it. He’s put his razor-sharp spin on official remixes for Rihanna and Calvin Harris, and even lent his touch to tracks by Benny Benassi and John Legend.

Even as trends kept shifting, Dyro kept evolving. He became a familiar name on elite labels such as STMPD RCRDS, Monstercat, and Hexagon, consistently delivering bangers that DJs loved to spin.

Remember that video game Rocket League?

Dyro’s collab “Memory Bank” (with Conro) landed a massive feature in the game, blasting his sound to millions of players . And when UK duo LF System’s track “Afraid To Feel” took over the charts, Dyro teamed up with David Guetta to drop a summer-infused remix that gave the hit a festival-sized adrenaline shot .

Through all these milestones, one thing is clear: Dyro knows how to make the world dance.

Dyro Right Now

If you haven’t checked in on Dyro’s music lately, prepare to be blown away. He isn’t afraid to defy genres and crank the intensity past ten. Nowhere is that evolution clearer than in Not Alone, his long awaited reunion with Hardwell.

The track REBUILDS nostalgia with that modern edge. Emotional tension sits under militant drops. Classic FEST energy meets modern sonic aggression. When Hardwell premiered “Not Alone” on mainstage, the reaction was immediate and violent in the best way. Arms up. Phones out. Full crowd eruption

And it’s not just Not Alone turning heads.

Earlier in 2023, Dyro dropped “Lucid,” a prog-house gem on Martin Garrix’s STMPD label that showcased a surprisingly emotive side beneath the pounding kicks.

Fans responded with equal enthusiasm – one longtime listener called Lucid their favorite recent release from Dyro, proof that this Dutch prodigy can seamlessly bounce between melodic and heavy while keeping his signature energy intact.

It’s clear

that whether he’s dropping bass house, progressive anthems, or hybrid hardstyle-techno bombs, Dyro’s versatility keeps crowds on their toes and craving more.

Fans Are Fired Up for Dyro’s 2025 Renaissance

If 2025 has proven anything, it’s that Dyro is back in a big way – and the dance music community is here for it. In a headline-grabbing reunion, when Hardwell unleashed “Not Alone” during his Ultra Miami set, the crowd went into a frenzy as soon as that nostalgic melody hit.

The duo later shocked fans with a live team-up at Amsterdam Music Festival during ADE, and the reaction was “nothing short of electric,” with fellow DJs praising the unique energy Hardwell and Dyro conjured on stage.

It became one of the most talked-about tracks of the year, a reminder of the magic that happens when two EDM titans click in the studio and on the stage.

On social media and forums, longtime fans have been buzzing about Dyro’s resurgence. Some lament that he isn’t on festival lineups as much these days, “even though he’s still making bangers”.

Well, that’s about to change.

Sunburn’s announcement of Dyro as NYE headliner in Toronto has lit up Reddit and Twitter with excitement. Dance aficionados know that Dyro’s sets are pure adrenaline. Be it the throwback hits or the unreleased IDs, he delivers with the confidence of a veteran and the hunger of an artist still eager to up the ante.
